0014162604005 Scam

A new mail is going rounds as below:

Please Vote for ceasefire in SriLanka. Please dial "0014162604005" and press "1" . This vote been taken by Canadian Army media. please act soon.

I searched for the source message in the internet. Neither could i find a source message nor the above mentioned Canadian Army media website. There was one more such mail campaign going on in 2006 against publication of Islamic cartoons in Newspapers for the same number.

I doubt the authenticity of the current campaign considering the lack of supporting links. This looks like a cheap tactic to make fast bucks at the expense of others.

So people BEWARE!!!

Receive the following mail. The link given at the end (where you are directed to update) is a FRAUD link. So friends, please be cautious.
